I truly enjoy my work and the client's with whom I work. I believe a good connection between the client and therapist is one of the most valuable parts of successful therapy. Therefore, I encourage people to "shop around" until they find a good fit. I am non-judgmental and my work tends to be informal yet goal directed. I work with individuals (12 and up), couples, and families. I have experience working with adolescents, young adults and parents on communication, transitional and relationship issues. In addition, I have special training and experience helping people cope with health-related issues.

I practice with an eclectic style emphasizing solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral philosophies. Through an interactive and collaborative process we work together to construct solutions to life's challenges.

I'm also a drummer. I have been studying and performing for about 25 years. My doctoral dissertation was on drumming and wellness.
